What will your role be?
We are looking for a Mechanical & Methods Engineer to perform the following activities:
- Design mechanical installation solutions for onboard railway equipment using CAD software.
- Participate in train surveys to define installation principles and technical solutions.
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical installation documentation.
- Follow mechanical design validation activities and contribute to FEA analysis.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop installation solutions.
- Prepare technical installation procedures and instructions.
- Define and optimise industrial and installation processes.
- Improve task sequencing, PERT planning and logistics activities.
- Support pre-assembly and pre-installation optimisation.
What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Approximately 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design or industrial methods.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, CATIA or SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in mechanical drawings and dimensioning.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Availability for occasional business travel.
